Leather Production Trainer

This role will be responsible for providing practical training, encouraging, and supporting the student in their Certificate II and III in leather production courses.

 

Other aspects of this role include:

Prepare, and deliver a structured, relevant, and engaging leather production course and assist students in achieving their training goals.

Inspire, motivate and provide positive support for students with any barriers and concerns regarding training and employment.

Ensure all training resources are current and are compliant with the standards set by the company, and with AQF, ASQA, and State Requirements.

Engage in active communication with teachers and parents around the course progress.

Assess and evaluate students ’progress throughout the course, maintain accurate student and course records, and complete all required reporting.

Ideally, the successful candidate will provide:

Certificate IV or higher in Training and Assessment

Certification relevant to the Leather Industry or willingness to obtain

High-level written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organisation, planning, and training skills.

Basic computer literary skills.

Minimum of 3 years experience in the leather production industry.

A current working with children blue card.

An active Queensland driver license and reliable personal transportation.
